Reunited Female Dog (Red/Brown, Miniature Dachshund) | "Rosie Pace"

Reported Reunited on 2023-07-07 00:08:03 | Our family's sweet wiener dog, Rosie Pace, went missing this afternoon after she had been left in the backyard of her house in Winter Park Pines, near Ranger and 436. Rosie is a 9-year-old mini dachshund with red-brown hair. She's small, but very sociable and lovable. She doesn't bite. She'll probably want to play if you lean down and offer your hand, or especially, a sausage of some sort. She has a bone-shaped metal tag attached to her collar that reads "Rosie Pace" and has the phone number 407-399-8108. We think she freaked out and snuck out during a thunderstorm and bolted through a gap in our fence; we believe that she's still running around, somewhere, in the Pines, or an adjacent neighborhood. The family members who are in town have carefully driven up and down the major streets near the house (436, Ranger, Lakemont) and have not found any run over dogs. Fingers crossed, that means she is still running around somewhere. I cannot express how much Rosie means to our family. She is the sweetest thing and has brought nothing but joy to our lives. If you see a wiener dog of this description, call her over and check if she has a tag - it should have my mother's number. If she doesn't have her collar, try to keep her with you for a bit and call the above numbers. If you can help us locate her, we'd be eternally grateful. The first phone number is that of my mother, Teresa Pace; the second is my own.
