Reuniting Pets and Owners
The goal of WinterParkLostPets.com is to reunite lost and found pets with their rightful owners. Winter Park area residents love and protect their pets. But occasionally, despite our precautions, pets can become separated from us. The most important thing you can do when you have lost or found a pet is get the word out quickly.
The following steps should be taken quickly to ensure owners and pets have the best chance of being reunited swiftly and safely.
IF YOUR PET IS LOST
- Click on the Report Lost Pet red tab to the right and complete the lost pet profile.
- Print your Lost Pet flyer after you create your profile and follow the directions on the checklist.
IF YOU HAVE FOUND A WANDERING PET
- Click on the Report Found Pet red tab to the right and complete the found pet profile.
- Print your Found Pet flyer after you create your profile and follow the directions on the checklist.
SIGN UP FOR E-MAIL ALERTS
Although it only takes one open gate to lose a pet, it can take a whole community to find it. Thus, it is important to sign up for our e-mail alert service that notifies residents of lost and found pets. To sign up click the Get Lost/Found Pet e-mail Alerts red tab to the right.
