She told me that she had seen the post on your website and that was the reason. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping find my best friend.

Missy: Charlie is reunited with his owner
Thank you so much for this wonderful service. We contacted the WPPD who directed us to you. My Dads idea to take the dog to a vet and see if it was microchipped worked as we went to the ER Vet in Casselberry and the dog was chipped. Even though the owners phone number was not current her address was. Thank you for this great service.

Kim: Terp is back home!
A guy in a white van picked her up in the area we were getting sightings. He took her to another area and left her in the woods. People were spotting her there and someone picked her up and then gave her to a friend to care for. She was in Clermont for a week and because of the media coverage we got her returned to us!!! Thanks so much for the posting. Kim

Thanks so much WPLP for all you did to bring our Zeke home. I was traveling and my mother was watching him. Somehow, she lost him and was of course, devastated.
Everyone at WPLP worked to get him home asap. He was also well taken care of and just as happy as could be upon return. Thanks for all you do for pets and their owners.

Barton C. Mercer: Second "Chance"
SUPPORT THIS SITE!!! God, Judy, and our Good Samaritan reunited Chance and his family, in just under 2 hours!!! We'd just moved into the area and Chance wasn't aware of his surroundings yet. Thus, when let out outside to pee, it didn't take but a second for him to wander off, looking for our old house. Frantic, I set out in our vehicle, looking for him. At 11 yrs old, I was sincerely distraught over the fear of heat exhaustion/dehydration. Luckily, a nearby neighbor scooped him up, going dorr-to-door, looking for his owner. After that was unsuccessful, and that he wasn't wearing his tags, our good samaritans had a vet scan Chance for an ID chip, but no luck. With no immediate success, our good neighbor took him to her aunt's home to bathe him and let him rest, so they could look for us again, the next day. That night, my wife and I could not sleep, so we busied ourselves making flyers and I began plastering the neighborhood with them, by 7am. At the suggestion of our neighbors, my wife had placed an ad on winterparklostpets.com, by 9am. As I stood in Kinkos to order more flyers, 10:45am, I got a call from our Angels who'd taken such great care of our little buddy. They saw the ad on winterparklostpets.com!!!! They met me right away to reunite us. God Bless our Good Samaritans, Judy, All Our Neighbors, for all the wonderful support and kindness you showed us. Can't thank you enough. Lessons learned: TAG AND CHIP YOUR PETS; AND SUPPORT THIS SITE!!!!

Lisa: Penny is Safe Thanks to a Good Samaritan
I rescued a little dog “Penny” (yorkiepoo) that was running down the middle of dark Lakemont late at night two weeks ago. I was meant to be there at that exact time to literally jump from my Jeep to tackle her. She would have been hit by a car seconds later. I wonderful gentleman stopped to jump in front of her so I could tackle her before she was hit by an oncoming car. It was surreal. She had tags and I was able to make contact with her mommy, Kate – who lives in the Winter Park Towers community - the next day but not before she had admitted herself to Winter Park Hospital for anxiety and chest pains over losing her dog. Before doing so, she apparently contacted you to post the Lost notice. Long story short, Penny may have actually saved her owner’s life by getting lost. Kate found out at the hospital that she had a severe case of shingles that could have taken her life if left untreated. When Kate was discharged from the hospital several days later, she called to thank me and told me that she had spoken with you “a wonderful lady named Judy at Winter Park Lost Pets” and was so thankful that your service exists. She had planned on visiting you at the Whole Foods’ event this past Saturday to tell you that in person and to make a donation. I hope she did. Kate and I plan on lunching when she recovers from the shingles.
Good stuff.
WPLP Note - Thank YOU Lisa for showing what the WPLP community does when it goes above and beyond!

David: Kane is Home!!!
Kane is safely back at home tonight. She was found last night and taken in for safe keeping. From the many siting reports, online posting and the flyers that where posted all over College Park led to finding who had her and getting her back home safely.
Your site is an invaluable resource and the auto generated flyer really helped out a lot, this made it so much easier. We met so many supper people who were willing to help look for her and pass on the information, it is nice to know that there is still a "community" that cares.

Laura and Patti: Gary is Home
Laura's home caught on fire 6 months ago and her cat escaped. "We looked all over for him posting signs and listing him in ads. We found winterparklostpets.com and posted his information there even though so much time had passed." Laura said. Christmas week Judy was at the WP Post Office and a lady approached her and inquired about winterparklostpets. "Do you have an orange cat on the site? Would it be from six months ago?" Patti asked. She had found one and had it for a long time and just knew he belonged to someone. Judy said "Yes! There was a posting but was not sure how long he had been missing." She gave the person who had the cat a flyer and asked the woman to call if she needed help posting the cat. GUESS WHAT? It was the cat recently posted that had been missing since the fire!!! This is 6 MONTHS that Gary was gone!!! Happy tears all around as Laura, Peggy and Judy all chatted about this amazing coinsidence - if Laura had not given up hope and posted his info on the website, if Patti had not seen the Jeep with WPLP on it, and if she had not waited for Judy to come out of the PO (Chrismtas week you can go in and never come out), but most importantly, if Patti had not loved Gary enough to continue to look for his owner! All GREAT things. Thank you for showing us to never give up hope! Thank you Patti Wooten, and Winterpark Lost Pets!

So thanks to the person or persons who emailed the dogs owner.
